This is instrumental reggae with some nice special effects. King of this style is King Tubby. Also producer Lee "Scratch" Perry was a dub artist. He made The Wailers' sound. A lot of artists gave the first version of their numbers to a dub artist. Afterwards they got it back with special effects.
