Born as Neville Livingston in 1947. Was together with Bob on school in Nine Miles. The good friends were separated when Bunny's father, Thadius "Toddy" Livingston moved to Kingston. When Bob and his mother moved in '57 to Kingston, Bunny was waiting for him already. Two youngsters were in the spell of the Soundsystems of Sir Coxsone Dodd, Duke Reid and Prince Buster.
Together they met Peter Tosh. Encouraged by Higgs, they formed "The Teenagers" and signed a contract at Coxsone Dodd's Studio One label in December 1964.
Numbers such as Simmer Down, a number 1 hit in February 1964, received them the label of hard boys, they were ignored radio stations and were tackled by the police force. Livingston was a target for the police force and became by them regularly cumbersome. Beginning 1967 he was arrested for the possession of marihuana, in spite of the agents found no marihuana in his pockets. He was condemned by the deposition of an agent, who explained that Livingston had dumped narcotics in a container. Bunny got 1 year and two months cell and was released in September 1968.
Bunny came back with the others and the recorded some numbers, 2 at Lee Perry and 2 at Island, "Catch A Fire" and "Burnin'". By fear of flying Bunny refused going to America by plane to promote "Catch A Fire". But go for a tour in England (1973) he admitted.
When the original three men occupancy reached a halt, Bunny Livingston was extremely confessed as Bunny Wailer. He dread the sacrifices which living on the road implied.
Bunny left the Wailers in 1974.
His first solo album "Blackheart man LP" appeared in1976.
Today he lives in Kingston and somewhere on a farm in the inland country of Jamaica.
